The Omali Vida Nón organized a training session for all relevant stakeholders at the end of September. In addition to the concepts of sustainable coastal zone and fisheries management and shared governance principles, the training focused on Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) as tools for sustainable management of biodiversity and natural resources, as well as the creation and management of MPAs through a participatory approach.
