Project inception session

Omali vida nón (sea our life) is the name of our project, that has presented on the 7th October at the Cultural Center of Santo Antonio, Principe. This project, a collaboration between the Principe Trust Foundation, the Regional Directorate of Fisheries, the Biosphere Reserve and the University of Exeter (UK), aims to contribute to the sustainable future of artisanal fisheries in the island of Principe. This session was attended by the main actors of this activity - fishermen and "palaiês" (fish traders), as well as representatives from all project partners, various NGOs, coast guard and captaincy. This project ends in December 2018 and we'll keep you updated on our progress and results!
