Training and social surveys

What is the economic importance of artisanal fishing for households in Principe? What are the perceptions of Principe's residents about fish abundance trends in recent years? And what strategies should be implemented in order to improve fishing communities and protect marine resources? These are some of the questions that we will be able to answer thanks to the social surveys starting next Monday and lasting around 2 months. This week, 6 people attended our training sessions and we had a pilot phase to test if the questionnaires were easily understood. They interviewed around 30 people and we are now ready to start the social surveys in target communities. We can't wait to see the results!
